TBD maintains a network of canals and roads between the creations on our Minecraft server.
Canals and water networks allow for rapid movement, but have limited range.
Roads confer relatively little benefit over walking through the open,
but if built well can require less effort on the part of the player.
Our roads can also be augmented to include minecart tracks once the associated bugs are fixed.

Extensions should be added to the transportation network with the following goals:

* Easy movement within a core area (centered for now on Floatingtrem's base).
* Some developed paths out to resource-gathering areas.
