The community chest is to be used as common storage for all players on the server.
It is maintained by TBD with help from players on our server.

The community chest currently has a temporary location south of Floatingtrem's base at the north end of the canal.


== New Player Equipment ==

This should contain a basic items so that a starting player can quickly get good resource collection going.
New players are invited to take what they need.
Leave enough for the next player, and try to return items once you start collecting resources for yourself.

TBD currently maintains the contents:

* Stone and wood.
* Compasses
* Torches
* Work benches
* Furnaces
* Cobblestone and sticks
* Boats (for canal navigation)

== Waste Materials ==

This can also be common storage of materials like dirt and gravel which most players accumulate
in amounts greater than they use in construction.
If you drop these off in the community chest, you don't have to worry about dealing with chests full of worthless
blocks.
Other players can then use these materials if they have a project that calls for them.
